Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any damages or discrepancies. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes. Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions, representing the company positively.

Requirements

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the day. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Familiarity with commercial driving practices and safety regulations. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and time management skills are essential.
