Self-Employed Delivery Drivers

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery van to complete parcel deliveries on assigned routes. Load and unload parcels with care, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Follow delivery schedules, adjusting as necessary to ensure timely arrivals. Use handheld devices for route navigation and delivery confirmation. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues. Adhere to all road traffic laws and company safety policies. Support the wider operations team when required.

Skills & Requirements

Full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points. Previous delivery driving experience is desirable but not essential (training provided). Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate efficiently. Physically fit and able to handle parcels (up to 23kg). Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Good communication and teamwork skills. Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
