Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our customers to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to adapt to a busy schedule. A valid commercial driving licence is essential for this position.

Duties

Operate delivery vans or vehicles to transport goods to designated locations Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling of products Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently to meet deadlines Communicate with staff and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods (on rare occasions) Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Experience working in a team and long hours if needed
