Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, ensuring that all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

Operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring safe handling of products. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any discrepancies or damages. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly. Ensure compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies during deliveries.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is advantageous. Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
