Summary

We are seeking a dedicated part-time Delivery Driver to join our team at Walter Rose & Son Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting our premium meat products to customers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while maintaining our high standards of service. The successful candidate will be responsible covering Monday, Tuesday and Saturday.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to various locations. Daily completion of Vehicle checks before starting your journey - as per app on mobile phone provided. Check orders against invoices to ensure order on the van are complete before starting your route. Load and unload meat products while ensuring safe handling practices. Daily checks of drivers notice board for any updates including rota, route allocation and van service/repair schedule. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during deliveries. Taking responsibility for company property and ensuring the return of delivery crates used each day. Ensuring you follow company procedure of deliveries, including the returns procedure.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving or delivery preferred. Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
