Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, good communication, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading. The ideal applicant will have previous delivery experience and a valid driver's licence suitable for commercial driving.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to specified locations within designated timeframes Load and unload items, often involving heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety procedures Communicate effectively with dispatch and stores regarding delivery schedules or issues Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and compliant with all road safety regulations Assist in warehouse activities when required, including stock organisation and inventory checks (if full time)

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with references available upon request Valid driver's licence suitable for commercial driving Experience with commercial driving vehicles and understanding of road safety regulations Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly Strong communication skills for liaising with team members effectively Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
