Part-time - 2 shifts a week Mon to Sat on rota - 12.21.

We are looking for a delivery driver to join our family run fruit, veg and dry goods wholesaler based in Melksham.

This position is two shifts a week from Monday to Saturday. Saturday availability is essential. Delivery routes have start times from 6am to 8am and finishing times will vary with operational demand.

As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for transporting products to multiple customers within roughly a 90 minute radius of our premises in Melksham. You must hold a full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities:

Deliver orders to customers at commercial locations in a timely manner Follow delivery schedules on routes provided Communicate effectively with on-site office staff, warehouse staff and customers Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Monitor temperatures and record accurately Make sure the products are kept in good condition Complete the necessary paperwork correctly Take second deliveries to customers when required Collect stock orders for the Company when required.
Requirements:

Full manual driving licence with a clean driving record

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Knowledge of local areas or ability to navigate using GPS devices

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Ability to lift up to 25kg

Must be able to work independently

Experience driving vans preferred.
