Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. Must have full clean drivers licence and must be over 25 years old for motor insurance purposes. References from previous employment will be required.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle similar in size to a Ford Transit van, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any discrepancies. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability and maintain a clean vehicle at all times. Assist in the warehouse when not on delivery duties, including organising stock and preparing orders for dispatch.

Skills

Proven experience within a Brewery (eg, handling kegs etc) as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 105.00-175.00 per day
