We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to manage time effectively while ensuring all deliveries are made on schedule. Willing to work a Saturday

Duties

Operate a van to deliver goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe transport. Load and unload items, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups, including any necessary paperwork. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues that may arise. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving, ensuring safety at all times. Able to work at least one day on a weekend 25 or over

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred. Strong ability to drive safely and efficiently in various conditions. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated is essential.

Pay: 78.00-130.00 per day
