Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and a proven track record in delivery driving. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of your daily duties.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a vehicle to deliver goods to customers in a timely manner. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are secured for transport. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and customer signatures. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving vehicles is a plus. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading of goods. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers effectively. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
