Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, making it essential for the successful execution of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

Operate a delivery van to transport goods efficiently and safely. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the warehouse team. Navigate routes using GPS or maps, ensuring timely arrivals at destinations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns. Assist in the warehouse as needed, contributing to overall operational efficiency.

Skills

Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred. Strong ability to lift heavy items safely and effectively. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
