Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Duties

Safely operate a van to deliver goods to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring that all products are handled with care. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in commercial driving is preferred. Valid driving licence with at most 6 points. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required during deliveries. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with local roads and routes is advantageous.
