We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations while ensuring the highest standards of customer service. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.
Duties
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload items, ensuring products are handled with care and delivered in good condition.
Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
Experience
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, particularly in a commercial driving capacity.
Familiarity with local roads and routes is advantageous.
Experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial, especially for tasks involving heavy lifting.
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
