JFTimber is seeking a reliable and dedicated

Delivery Driver

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting timber and other products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. As a key member of our logistics team, the Delivery Driver will represent J F Timber with professionalism, providing excellent customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products.

Location: J F Timber Ltd, Unit 1, Kingsilver Refinery, Church Lane, Hixon, Staffs, ST18 0PY

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and heavy lifting techniques. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries. Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Proven experience as a delivery driver Familiarity with commercial driving regulations Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physical demands of the job Previous warehouse experience is a plus

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
