Job Description

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers. Your ability to navigate efficiently, communicate effectively, and handle physical tasks will contribute to our overall customer satisfaction. You will typically work 3 x 10 hours days a week, however further days may be available depending on business requirements.

You will be required to be away from home maybe one or two nights a week, to travel to Scotland or Brighton areas. Please do not apply if you are unable to be away from home.

DUTIES

- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

EXPERIENCE

Experience with national driving is required, specifically within the London area.

- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards

Pay: 140.00 per day

Expected hours: 30 - 32 per week
