Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to navigate efficiently and handle deliveries with care.

Working hours will be between 6 - 15 hours per week with the potential for more hours with company growth.

We are constantly growing small buisness with the view to expand our team.

Duties

- Operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and clean both interior and exterior. Third party cleaning facilities provided.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including and possible discrepancies
- Assist in warehouse duties when required, including stock organisation and general tidying.
- Ensure that all deliveries are made within the designated time frames while providing excellent customer service.

Skills

- Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to drive safely in various weather conditions and navigate using maps or GPS systems.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- A valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven is essential, with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
