Job Description

Here at Global Service Group we are seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our team for our new contract at our Sunbury Depot. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods while ensuring timely deliveries. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to 'delivery beyond expectation'.

Responsibilities

Due to the nature of the collection times, there may be a need for overtime to get samples back to lab on time. Collection of samples from our clients' fixed sites every night Delivery of samples in a reasonable timeframe and in good condition Driving at all times in a safe and appropriate manner; always courteous to other road users Ensuring the temperature control of the vehicle's fridge is maintained at all times. Developing and maintaining a good professional relationship with staff. Maintaining a degree of flexibility on collection runs to allow for additional requests and traffic delays. Maintaining a smart appearance of both driver and vehicle; project a positive public image.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record with no more than 3 points. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Must be over 25 due to insurance restrictions. Must be available for 1 of the shift times below. Full and Part time Hours available.

Shifts Available

Driver 1:

Mon - Fri 5 hours per day start time 2pm 1 collection

Driver 2:

Sat Sun and B/H 5 hours per day start time 2pm 1 collection

Driver 3:

Mon - Fri 5 hours per day start time 1:30pm 2 collections

Driver 4:

Sat/Sun B/H 5 hours per day start time 1:30pm 2 collections

Driver 5:

Mon-Fri 7 hours per day 3pm start 1 collection Isle of Wight

Driver 6:

Sat Sun B/H 7 hours per day 3pm start 1 collection Isle of Wight

Driver 7 and 8:

4 on 4 off 7.5 hour shift 7 days a week start time 20:30 3 collections
