Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and any discrepancies. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during the delivery process. Warehouse duties, including but not limited to; picking orders, serving customers.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices. Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate various road conditions safely. Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial for understanding logistics processes. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading of goods. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
