Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and storage during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential. A valid driving licence with a clean driving record is required; experience with driver vehicles is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is advantageous. Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial, particularly in relation to heavy lifting tasks. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
