We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. Responsibilities
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required while ensuring items are secured properly for transport.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any discrepancies.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading of deliveries and efficient handling of goods.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions during the delivery process.
Qualifications
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred.
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous.
Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
