Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering parcels to various locations around the North Wales region while ensuring timely and safe transportation. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to drive safely, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. The shift pattern for this role will be

Tuesday to Saturday

every week.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans, to transport parcels to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and heavy lifting when necessary. Communicate effectively with office and warehouse staff regarding any potential issues. Recording deliveries in the proper manner with compliant photos and signatures. Meet customer expectations through accurate estimated times of arrival and communicating any potential issues. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including sorting and organising parcels.

Requirements

Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday each week. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Receipt of a clear DBS check from our client. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (upto 30kg) as required during loading and unloading processes. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. Must be organised, punctual, and able to work independently. A smartphone with Android 6.0 or up; Or iOS 13.0 or up.
