Go Green Deliveries are looking for the best of the best delivery driver.

IMMEDIATE START Self-Employed

Need to be over 23 for insurance

Needs to have a full UK driving license for 1 year for Insurances

6 months experience required

We are open to speaking with experienced drivers or those just starting in the profession.

All we ask is that you have great customer service experience and a passion for driving

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery van or vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Requirements

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; (can except up to 6 points depending on what they are for, )experience in commercial driving is preferred but not essential. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.

What does a Delivery Driver do?

Making between 80 to 120 drops average per day and works 5-6 days a week Drives a delivery van to drop off packages to customers within their community, interacting in a professional and positive manner Uses handheld technology to manage the delivery process following strict safety standard on and off the road
