Job description

We are looking for a number of people to join us at Shifters and we are more interested in you and your capabilities than your experience.

We provide on-the-road training to suit your needs as well as a fully fuelled, insured and delivery van. You will be self-employed and set up assistance will be provided if required.

We offer:

Once trained you will be delivering high volumes of parcels on behalf of our clients and we therefore expect exemplary customer focus in order to uphold both Shifters and our clients' brands. Correct delivery process must always be followed. You must be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative, both alone and in support of the team but you are never alone on the road, we have a huge support team at your disposal.

You must be:

In possession of a full driving licence with no more than 6 points and no active UT, DR, DG, DD, BA, IN, AC, CD, LC30-50, MS50-90, MR or TT endorsements A safe and capable driver Able to work the scheduled hours plus morning preparation and breaks, start times may vary and work may continue into the evening Dedicated, flexible and able to follow correct procedures to deliver exceptional customer service Able to pass a drug and alcohol test Able to commute to and from the Morley delivery station Able to load and deliver high volumes of parcels, some reasonably heavy Able to speak, read and write English to a good level
