Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver(manual driver) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the daily tasks.

Responsibilities

Operate a van to deliver goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring safe handling and adherence to weight limits. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any discrepancies. Ensure the vehicle is regularly checked for maintenance needs and kept clean. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving vans or lorries is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and time management.
