We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary.
Duties
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and any necessary documentation.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during the delivery process.
Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving a commercial vehicle is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential.
