Job Description
We are looking for a van delivery driver, to cover delivering out of our Welwyn Garden City location, to deliver to our customer base on our fourth route, which covers various areas outside of London, covering Essex on certain days, North on others and a South Coast run.
The successful candidate will need to have a strong comfort level driving in London, the driver that covers our 4th run, is also the driver that provides annual leave cover, to our current drivers that cover the City. So, we require versatility.
Requirements
- Prior history as a delivery driver in the Greater London is required, you must be able to demonstrate knowledge of London in an interview.
- Must be comfortable driving in the central city of London.
- Must be a team player, personal fit, being friendly and personable with both fellow staff and customers (Labourers and Traffic Marshalls) is absolutely vital.
- A drivers licence that has category C1 would be helpful, grandfathered due to age or otherwise, while we run vans, some of them are 4.2 tonne and require a 7.5 tonne licence to drive. However this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidate, as we can provide training.

Hours as standard are 05:00/06:00 - 14:30
