Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe transport. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the delivery process.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all products. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with the office regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in warehouse duties when not on deliveries, including stock management and organisation.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record and valid CPC . Experience with commercial driving is preferred. Forklift licence is welcomed. Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Excellent organisational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently. Pay: 14.00-206.09 per hour
