Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, the ability to manage various tasks efficiently, as well as some early starts and overnight stays. Duties

Safely operate a delivery van or vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring that products are handled with care and in accordance with safety regulations. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered during transit. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance. Overnight stays 2 nights per week depending on travelling distance (hotel accommodation and meal allowance is provided) Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols is essential. Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous, particularly in relation to heavy lifting and stock management. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members. A valid driver's licence is required; additional qualifications for commercial driving will be considered an asset.
