Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to customers

- Welcoming customers, assist with stock deliveries and inventory checks
- Load and unload products from the van at each delivery location
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company policies
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner and handle complaints and queries professionally.
- Process transactions accurately at the till

- Support management in store promotions, driving sales and customer retention
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or discrepancies

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, sales assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks, as needed
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Familiarity with local roads and routes for efficient navigation
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
