Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver/rider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our 3 stores. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle various driving/rider tasks and maintain the integrity of our products during transit.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver/rider/courier is highly desirable. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles or lorries is a plus. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands associated with loading and unloading goods. Prior warehouse experience is advantageous, demonstrating an understanding of logistics operations. Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
