Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver/picker to join our fruit and vegetable warehouse team. Duties also include invoicing.

Early starting time:

3 days at 5am , 2 days at 3am.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and have experience in commercial driving. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires heavy lifting and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and warehouse staff.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of heavy lifting tasks. Pick and pack orders Invoice and price orders Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading of goods for delivery. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the nature of the deliveries. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
