Job Overview

Due to continued growth and expansion this employer is seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their branch team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer deliveries with warehouse and branch support duties. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring excellent customer service and smooth day-to-day branch operations.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Transport

Deliver customer orders efficiently and safely to sites and premises Load and unload goods using a 3.5 tonne long wheelbase (LWB) van Ensure deliveries are accurate, timely, and handled with care Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues

Warehouse Duties

Receive, check, and store incoming stock Pick and prepare customer orders Assist with inventory control and stock management Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment

Branch Support

Assist with answering incoming phone calls Take customer orders and provide basic product support Support the branch team with general operational tasks as required Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times
Skills & Requirements

Full UK driving licence (essential) Experience driving a 3.5t van preferred Good organisational and time-management skills Positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic IT and communication skills
