Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

Receive and unload deliveries, ensuring that all items are checked against delivery notes for accuracy. Organise and store products in designated areas within the warehouse. Prepare orders for dispatch by picking items from shelves and packing them securely. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely and efficiently (training may be provided). Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding stock levels and any issues that arise. Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable. Delivery driver experience or commercial driving experience is an advantage. Familiarity with operating a driver or similar equipment is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) regularly throughout the shift. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
