Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking delivery driver / warehouse operative to join our team at our Rainham Branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, including heavy lifting, inventory management, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Pay is based on age and experience.

Flex start and end time Plus Paid overtime 40 hours per week.

Duties

Assist with loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles. Perform heavy lifting of items as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktaking activities. Prepare orders for dispatch Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise. Drive delivery vans as needed to transport goods to designated locations, adhering to all road safety regulations. Keep the warehouse clean and organised, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred Must have a driving licence and must have been driving longer than 2 years. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is essential. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the operational needs of the warehouse.
