Delivery Driver/warehouse Operative

We are looking to recruit a reliable, friendly and experienced delivery driver/warehouse operative to join our busy team based in Manchester. Full UK driving licence essential. Immediate start.
ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a new delivery driver/warehouse operative to join our small and very close knit team. Duties will vary from delivering goods to our customers whilst also supporting the warehouse with picking duties, van loading etc.

In this role, you will be in contact with customers so we expect you to be smart, professional and display first-class communication skills under all circumstances.
You will be driving a van from our fleet which you will be expected to maintain in good order at all times.
Duties include: - Making deliveries. - Loading and unloading vehicles. - Picking and packing customer orders. - Palletising. - General warehouse duties. - Complying with all health and safety guidelines.
Skills required: - Steady work history. - Full UK driving licence. - Physically fit due to lots of lifting. - Comply with health and safety guidelines. - Must be over 25 due to insurance policy. - Forklift licence advantageous.
Working Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and or Saturday 5.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m,
Education/ Qualifications/Qualities:
Driving experience ideally multidrop Relevant experience Good interpersonal and communication skills The ability to adapt to change in priority Good numeracy skills Willing to learn new skills in order to support warehousing needs Comply will all Company procedures governing the role Approach the role in a flexible manner, and be prepared to adapt to requirements outside of the immediate role that are essential to the organisation
