Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, hard working, and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the overall success of our logistics and supply chain processes. This position involves various tasks including materials handling, stocking, and assisting with shipping and receiving operations.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods from lorries and containers Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely Manage inventory using a warehouse management system Perform picking and packing of orders accurately Ensure proper materials handling to maintain product integrity Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments Maintain a clean and organised work environment Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stocking shelves Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals

Skills

Previous warehouse experience is essential Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment Familiarity with warehouse management systems, ideally, MS 365 Business Centre Strong mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (up to 25 kg) Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
