Overview

SEP Geospatial are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to materials handling, shipping, and receiving. In addition, the successful candidate will need to assist our drivers with deliveries and collections in a company van. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently. Utilise warehouse management systems. Use of our dedicated hire + Sales Software, Insphire. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Assist in materials handling tasks, including moving products within the warehouse. Maintain an organised and clean work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals. Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory management as required. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment. Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to various locations Load and unload merchandise from the vehicle Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customers Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as part of daily duties. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting. Basic computer skills for data entry into warehouse management systems. Valid drivers licence Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred but not essential Ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely and responsibly Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
