Gafbros Ltd is a well-established family-based packaging company for approximately 44 years in the heart of Leicester. We have a great team and are getting substantially busier. Therefore we have recently taken on new employees and now looking for more permanent candidates for:

Van Delivery Driver Warehouse Person

Warehouse Responsibilities:

Pick and palletise orders. Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging & health and safety in the warehouse. Identify and dispose of defective items. Properly use packaging materials for example, Wrapping pallets. Maintain a clean work area.
Candidate Requirements:

High School Diploma / GCSE. Basic academic knowledge (Maths & English) Experience in a warehouse environment preferred. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.

Warehouse Picker Job Essential Skills

Concentration :
Warehouse pickers must pay attention to ensure they have the correct type and number of items for an order.

Possessing Listening Skills help warehouse pickers understand and follow instructions from supervisors, delivery drivers or packers.

Job description includes the ability to sort and assemble items to be shipped as an order.
Organizational skills entail grouping merchandise according to the intended customer.

Also involves standing, squatting, reaching, walking and sitting, often in combination and must possess the strength and stamina to lift sometimes large or heavy merchandise.

Van Driver:

Loading vans with orders and completing local or sometimes National deliveries nearby. You must have a Full UK clean Driving Licence.

Having a Forklift Licence will be a bonus for the warehouse roll
