About The Role

The Delivery Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of temporary mobile network deployments at major UK events (e.g. festivals, concerts, large-scale gatherings). Acting as the critical interface between Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), event organisers, internal teams and delivery partners, the Delivery Manager oversees planning, design, mobilisation, live operations and decommissioning phases. With a rigorous focus on deadlines--ensuring zero slippage--the Delivery Manager proactively manages communications, promptly resolves issues and maintains detailed RAID logs, keeping all stakeholders fully informed. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery of high-capacity, multi-operator mobile coverage, adhering strictly to budgetary, technical and safety standards. This position supports both the facilitation phase (2025) and ongoing in-life operations (2026+), reporting directly to the Lead Delivery Manager and collaborating closely with the Radio Manager, Programme Manager and Deployment Partner. The individual is the trusted lead for maintaining delivery momentum, solving issues and unblocking problems, driving the team and setting the pace, working towards delivery commitment and upholding Boldyn cultural values.



What You'll Be Doing
Project Coordination and Management:Act as the primary interface between MNOs (including their subcontractors) and event/site management teams Coordinate and manage site access, design and build schedules, logistics clearances, design and build approvals and efficient decommissioning post-event Work closely with the Deployment Partner, Lead Delivery Manager and Radio Manager to ensure timely and seamless integration of all site infrastructure. Deliver projects to strict deadlines with no tolerance for overruns


RAID and Programme Management:Create, maintain and manage detailed RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs for assigned events, escalating critical issues promptly to Programme and Lead Delivery Managers Support the overall Programme Management by adhering strictly to deadlines, managing risks and identifying opportunities for schedule improvements Track milestones, manage critical paths and maintain transparent reporting

Quality Assurance / H&S Compliance:Ensure rigorous QA processes are executed by the Deployment Partner, including comprehensive checks on mast stability, equipment functionality, power reliability, fibre / backhaul integration and overall system readiness Conduct final readiness checks and facilitate necessary approvals prior to the commencement of events Ensure compliance with all applicable Health & Safety regulations, CDM requirements and RF exposure limits

Documentation and Approvals:Review and approve key deployment documentation, including Method Statements (MSVs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and Build Hand Over Packs (BHOPs) Work collaboratively with our commercial oversight and Health & Safety teams to verify project costs and safety documentation

Stakeholder and Communication Management:Proactively manage communications with MNO stakeholders, event organisers, internal programme teams and third-party contractors Clearly articulate project status, risks and resolution strategies across diverse stakeholders and ensure alignment of delivery expectations Act as lead contact for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), capturing requirements and coordinating base station and backhaul integration Liaise with event organisers to secure approvals, plan power/fibre provisioning and align with site operations Manage contractors and delivery partners across all phases--design to winterisation Enforce strict deadline and risk management--no delays tolerated

Distance Working:Ability to work flexible hours and travel extensively across the UK, including weekends

What You'll BringExperience designing and/or delivering indoor coverage solutions including active and passive distributed antenna systems (DAS) and small cells with onsite experience Knowledge of UK or IE mobile network architecture models and standards Highly disciplined, structured and proactive working style, capable of independently driving project milestones and deadlines A self-aware, solutions-driven individual who demonstrates initiative, resilience and adaptability in dynamic, high-pressure environment Clear, open and transparent communication style with team members, Stakeholders and Suppliers Natural problem-solver with confidence making decisions under pressure An understanding of the financial impact of decisions made at work Ability to apply industry best practice for tools and systems Ability to manage and lead team peers and supply chain pertinent to the delivery of projects Experiencing engaging at all levels in the organisation with an ability to excite others about our vision, goals and priorities Excellent stakeholder management skills with both internal and external customers with ability to navigate a "win-win" solution with suppliers Desirable: + Prince2, APM or equivalent project management qualifications
