Job Description

We're a small company doing big things in the world of data, cloud and AI. We're looking for a delivery manager who's in it, across it, and totally on it. You'll be driving the delivery of our more complex projects and data products in a client-facing capacity. Behind the scenes, you'll be responsible for the resourcing and pacing of our consultative support work, and directing internal efforts to create systems, tools and automations to drive effectiveness and efficiency.

What you'll do



Lead the delivery of complex projects - encompassing data solutions and analytics initiatives - from kick-off to completion, acting as project manager to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery Oversee resourcing across our client engagements, identifying upcoming requirements, opportunities and potential bottlenecks. You will help ensure that the right skills are available to the right clients at the right time Help our team find availability to take on important internal projects - like improving our products, automating tasks, and making our systems work better together Support the commercial management of projects and engagements - monitoring the profitability of fixed-cost deliverables and ensuring time spent providing consulting and support is recovered

Experience



Project managing the delivery of marketing analytics initiatives and data solutions for enterprise clients Working with distributed delivery teams comprising permanent and contract team members Managing and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and management Working in a similar role within a marketing agency or data and analytics consultancy

Skills and knowledge



Strong agile project management skills including kanban, scrum and sprint planning - with the judgement to know which methodology is most appropriate in a given scenario Configuration and advanced use of tools like Jira, Slack, Mural, Harvest, and NotebookLM Great communication skills, specifically when it comes to relaying plans and requirements, as well as presenting updates to clients A solid working knowledge and enthusiastic adoption of AI - with evidence of a "builder" mindset Strong attention to detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture Naturally curious and proactively seek new knowledge and development opportunities Financially and commercially savvy, able to understand agency and consulting operating models Project management certification (particularly in Scrum or agile methodologies) an advantage
