We're looking for a
Delivery Manager
to work with us on our exciting new project to transform Alternative Education Provision across North East Lincolnshire which will ensure children and young people are able to access suitable education provision that meets their needs and supports them to reach their potential.
What's the role all about?
As a Delivery Manager you will work alongside Children's Services Education, Inclusion and Integration colleagues to transform Alternative Education Provision across North East Lincolnshire.
You'll remove blockers and create the right environment for the multi-disciplinary team to succeed, helping to create a culture of learning and transparency. In the context of listening, learning, reviewing and adapting, the role will take an agile approach to building a culture of continuous improvement.
What will your day look like?
Your day will involve you working with a multi-disciplinary team, staff across the workforce and other key stakeholders ensuring they are clear on their roles and responsibilities and are empowered to meet their objectives. You will also be helping them prioritise the right work at the right time, working to ensure they are all involved and enthusiastic about the work, facilitating reviews to ensure continuous learning throughout the project, identifying risks and opportunities and delivering the project to the quality required, on time and on budget.
You will also be ensuring, robust project governance and effective and timely communication about the project and providing regular updates to senior managers and project sponsors.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working collaboratively to make a difference and improve outcomes for children, young people, families and communities across North East Lincolnshire.
You will have the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines concurrently with a range of experience in designing and delivering transformation within large and complex environments using agile methodologies.
You will have excellent communication skills that enable you to quickly build relationships and trust with all stakeholders and an ability to help individuals, teams and services plan and prioritise their work, helping them understand what trade-offs must be made to deliver a project effectively.
You must be naturally curious, always looking to get to the root causes of problems, offer innovative responses and be willing to challenge the status quo.
You will be a persuasive and engaging communicator to help contribute to making sense of and finding solutions in the context of a complex operating environment.
