About your role
Nottingham Crown Court sits within HMCTS' Midlands region in the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Cluster supported by the Operations Manager and Court Delivery Managers.
You're responsible for the smooth running of Nottingham Crown Court, leading your team and supporting the Operations Manager to meet operational needs, deliver cluster performance objectives and provide a consistent and customer-focused service.
You're able to maintain positive and effective working relationships with the judiciary, supporting agencies, voluntary and user groups and strive for continuous improvement to improve operational efficiency, working with agencies to improve service levels. You're familiar with work environments that are process and compliance driven and able to constructively manage complaints and complete corrective actions within set timescales. You understand the importance of Health and Safety, IT/Workstation compliance and identifying and escalating any Court facilities issues to HMCTS Estates teams.

These operational roles are customer facing, requiring successful applicants to be office based to provide HMCTS services to the public.
Standard full time working hours are 37 hours per week. HMCTS welcomes part-time, flexible and job-sharing working patterns, where they meet the demands of the role and business needs and are agreed prior to appointment. All applications for part-time, flexible and job-sharing working patterns will be considered in accordance with the MoJ's Flexible Working policy.
Applications for part-time working would be considered however due to the nature of the role the minimum hours would be 32 hours per week over 5 days.

Location
This post will be based at Nottingham Crown Court, Canal Street, Nottingham, NG1 7EL and will cover all Nottinghamshire Crown Courts.
