Delivery Support Engineer

Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for providing timely solutions to production problems by liaising with the engineering design team, quality team, and manufacturing team as required to evaluate installation issues and provide a robust solution.


Responsibilities




Support TAS and VPS OSS teams with technical assistance to ensure on-time installation and delivery of TAS products Implement lessons learned and design changes for subsequent shipset deliveries Maintain a current and up-to-date knowledge of developments of existing and new programs in order to effectively deal with future OEM installation programs Feed learning and product improvement suggestions back into the design team Take part in liability review and validation activities Partake in OEM visits for continuous improvement activities Compilation and governance of KPI's

Requirements




Essential




3rd level qualification in relevant Engineering or related discipline. 2+ years' experience engineering-related experience 2+ years' experience gained in an engineering/manufacturing environment Highly proficient in general computer skills (MS-Word, Excel, Adobe, photo software, etc.) Experience using CAD Proven ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative to achieve targets Excellent problem solving and decision making capability

Desirable




Awareness of aircraft installation technical requirements and certification aspects Detailed knowledge of TAS products
