Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will undertake van driving duties, loading our vehicles, using strapping to ensure loads are secure and safe, making deliveries to our customers and collections from our suppliers. Working closely with fellow team members and being the face of the business when delivering to our customers and collecting from our suppliers. The role will involve both local and national deliveries. Some work outside standard hours will be required. From time to time this role will required to undertake warehouse duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager
you'll work in a small team responsible for undertaking fabrication and assembly duties within our clean and purpose-built fabrication shop. This will involve pipe cutting, plastic welding, assembly, ductwork, packing and testing. Your main responsibilities will be:
Key Responsibilities:
Make deliveries or collections using drop side 3.5T vans in a timely manner whilst maintaining the high level of customer service expected from PIPEKIT staff
To make deliveries in a specified order in line with the delivery schedule.
Maintaining vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition carrying out regular vehicle checks
To ensure regulations set out within the Health and Safety At Work Act are met
To carry out any reasonable task assigned by the Warehouse Manager whether or not directly related to the daily routines
About you
Ideally, you will be an experienced delivery driver using this type of vehicle and with good knowledge of the main UK road system. You will be flexible and have great customer service and communication skills. It is essential that you are a great team player who can work effectively with minimum supervision. You will have a strong understanding of the importance of following Health and Safety rules and always working in a safe manner.

Work effectively as a member of a small, motivated team
Ideally but not essential to have a Counterbalance fork truck licence
To be able to lift large and cumbersome objects, load van etc...
To hold a full UK Drivers Licence with no more than three points
Good organisational skills
