We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. This role is essential in ensuring that our products reach our customers safely and on time. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to excellent customer service, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with delivery.
Duties
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of products during transit.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is safe and roadworthy.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and heavy lifting tasks.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is an advantage.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required during loading and unloading.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
