We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and possess strong communication skills. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires the ability to handle heavy lifting and navigate various routes effectively.

Duties

Operate a van to deliver goods to designated locations in a safe and timely manner Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record Previous experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and time management
