Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to materials handling, stocking, and shipping & receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring accurate handling of materials Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Manage inventory using a warehouse management system, including picking & packing orders Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining an organised warehouse environment Perform shipping & receiving duties, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required by the role Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols consistently Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Pay: 24,420.00-36,007.60 per year
