Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

Safely operate a van to transport goods between locations. Load and unload products, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any discrepancies. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including heavy lifting and organising stock. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for van operation. Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the day. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
