Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a in house stock driver. This role involves delivering stock efficiently from our central kitchen to our 2 other stores daily except Monday while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, checking stock, and providing excellent communication with our other stores. Previous experience in delivery driving and warehouse operations is highly desirable. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those looking for extra work a few hours 6 days a week.

Responsibilities

Safely operate your own vehicle, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations Deliver goods to our other sites across various locations in a timely and professional manner Load and unload items, often requiring some heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams Assist with warehouse organisation, stock management, and inventory checks as needed Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries courteously and professionally Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues

Experience

Proven delivery driver experience, preferably with commercial driving roles Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients Familiarity with driving regulations and safety standards within the UK transportation sector

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
