Job Description
Job Purpose:
To provide reliable, safe, and efficient delivery and collection of materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites and suppliers, ensuring all goods are handled correctly and delivered on time to support site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Load, secure, and deliver construction materials and equipment between company sites, suppliers, and clients. Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean, and maintained. Complete delivery paperwork, log sheets, and basic inventory records accurately. Follow all company safety policies, road regulations, and site procedures. Assist with general labouring or material handling on-site when required. Communicate effectively with site teams and office staff to coordinate deliveries. Report any incidents, vehicle defects, or delays promptly.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
Full clean UK driving licence Good knowledge of local routes across Newry, Mourne & Down. Experience in delivery or driving roles (preferably in construction or trade supply). Ability to lift and handle materials safely. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Good communication and record-keeping skills.
Desirable:
CSR card or site safety training certificate. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

Pay: 12.21-14.64 per hour
